2011Race D2 GS Ti pb (non-FIS) experts only - if you are a top end bar league racer
2011D2 VF 82 if you are going to be mainly in crud and powder and are an expert skier.
2010, 2011D2 VF 75 if you are an upper intermediate to lower expert skier and like the entire mountain.
2011 D2 VF 73 Is the slightly toned down version of the 75 model - for the intermediate all mountain skier
2010 D2 VF 72 - expert skier f you love speed & carving, some crud and Colorado skiing.

The 2011 Race D2 GS Ti (non FIS ski) is awesome. We have the 2011 ski as a demo and they are getting great reviews for the league racers. Except for a few that preferred a more forgiving ski - these are tough skis and you really need to turn them hard, and if you do they carve out one heck of a turn - and fast. This ski is not for everyone - but they definately are nice. The radius is 17 m.

2011 Atomic Doubledeck Varioflex D2 VF 75 skis are as hot as ever. Comments from those that tested these skis - "wow - effortless skiing for me. So easy to turn on the flats and then when I wanted to push it they turned stiff - great". "I though they would be soft on the steeps and I was wrong - neat". Quick and snappy for a 75 mm wide ski - was not what I expected. As the shop owner, I have to say these are the best skis I skied since Volkl came out the the 6-Star skis many years ago.

"I loved them. I really think they are the best ski I have been on in some time. Seemed really easy to turn, but strong at the same time... weird explanation, but it is what I felt - I bought the 148 cm size at 5' -3" tall. I demo-ed the 157 cm ski the other day and they were a big hit in the hardpack/ice conditions I tried them. Thanks - I had a blast.

2010 Atomic Doubledeck D2 VF 72 Select skis w/NTL 412 bindings
2010 Atomic Doubledeck Varioflex D2 VF 72 skis are the hottest skis in the market this season. There has not been this much excitement in over 10 years. We set a record for the most pre-season skis ordered at our shop with the Doubledeck Varioflex skis. These skis are the real deal - every tester in our group - and every person that tried them when we had the skis for the month of March LOVED them. "Hot", "Awesome", "I felt like a kid on a new bike... it was exciting" - reviews this positive we have not heard in years. The D2 VF 72's were a bit more responsive and quicker for the midwest skiing than the 82's, but both were fun. The 72's held on race course ice much better than the softer D2 VF 75's. The change in flex is noticable and fun - funny this was not invented years ago - simple design that works. The 72's are the best all-round ski for the top end expert skier... race the bar league, ski the crud - one ski does it. 113 - 72 - 103. 16 m rad
